GU FAMILY BOOK (EPISODE 4)

Dam Yeo Wool realizes that the sign she was told to avoid is just in front of her.  The man, whom she saved earlier, and who seems to be fated to her – the one she was told she must avoid - is on her shoulders!

In their hideout, Dam Yeo Wool watches Choi Kang Chi sleeps.  She pokes his face but the young man just snores aloud.
Gon comes in and tries to wake up Kang Chi using his foot but to no avail.  Thinking Kang Chi is just pretending to be asleep, Gon tries to stab him.  Kang Chi jumps out and questions Gon.

At the Hundred Year Inn, the group of Jo Gwan woong has arrived.  Since his father is out, Park Tae Seo greets the guests who insisted that they should settle in the Hundred Year Inn no matter what.  Park Tae Seo has had the rooms checked if they can accommodate the entire pack of Bi Jo but the inn is very much occupied leading him to offer to send one of his men to check available accommodations in nearby inns.  This irked Bi Jo as he feels insulted that Park Tae Seo refuses to accommodate him. A heated argument ensued between Bi Jo and Park Tae Seo.  Bi Jo even managed to tweak the words of Park Tae Seo making it looks treachery when Lady Yoon arrives and takes over.  She tries to appease Bi Jo but the vicious man’s reasonings are crooked leading Lady Yoon to kneel and beg for forgiveness.
Bi Jo’s mood changes when he suddenly sees Chung Jo running towards them and imagines it the girl he is obsessed with – Yoon Seo Hwa.  Then Choi Kang Chi blocks his stare on Chung Jo.  Argument ensues until Bi Jo orders his men to hit Kang Chi but the latter managed to handle it.  Bi Jo and his men left the Hundred Year Inn when the police arrives and tell them they have a place at the headquarters.

The next scene shows Park Mu Sol questioning the head guard about his whereabouts when Bi Jo arrived at the inn.  Kang Chi claim it was his fault but the businessman knows he is lying!  Although Kang Chi helped to get rid of Bi Jo, Lady Yoon did not soften on him saying Kang Chi’s actions has put Park Mu Sol in an awkward position. When her husband left to seek forgiveness to Bi Joo, Lady Yoon calls in for Kang Chi and reiterates that he dislikes him and that he should leave.

Outside, Dam Yeo wool sees Kang Chi and tells her guess about his unfortunate situation – that is falling in love with the owner’s daughter.  Dam Yeo Wool checks how good Kang Chi’s skills are.  She hits him with a stick but the latter failed to avoid it.  Kang Chi explains that his skills and ability depends on who is in front of him and whom he wants to fight with.  He also tells Yeo Wool not to get involved in his life.  He was about to leave when Yeo wool tells him that he is afraid of king spiders.  Kang Chi denies it.  But when Yeo wool shouts king spider, Kang Chi jumps in fear towards her.

Meanwhile, Park Mu Sol visits Bi Jo Gwan woong to ask for forgiveness.  Bi Jo demanded for Chung Jo to which Mu Sol did not agree and then the officer demanded Kang Chi to suffer 200 beatings but Mu Sol offers that he receive the beatings instead being their father.  Park Mu Sol didn’t know that he may have been spared from the beating but Jo Gwan woong already ordered his deputy to murder him and frame up Kang Chi.

Kang Chi is in the market following Yeo wool and Gon when the duo suddenly disappeared from his sight.  Then he sees Ma Bong Chool extorting money from the vendors.  Yeo wool and Gon meets the Admiral who was then eating at the market.  While they were reporting, they heard a commotion nearby and see Kang Chi grabbing Bong chool.  They watch as Kang Chi orders Bong Chool and his gang to take out all the money from their pockets.  The Admiral thinks it was a kind of stealing in a broad daylight but when Kang Chi orders everyone to line up; they realize he is just giving back what the gangster took from the poor vendors.

Yeo wool sees Sojung in the crowd at the market and asks him what will happen is she gets to meet the person fated to her.  Sojung said that one of them would end up dying.  In the evening, Yeo wool practices her aura sword as she thinks about the moments she had with Kang Chi and the sign that she meets the one fated to her.

At the end of her practice, she gets surprised when Kang Chi applauded from behind.  He commends her for her good sword skills then soon turns serious and asks her how did she know that he fears the king spiders.  He asked Yeo Wool if he knows her or if they met before.  Yeo wool asks Kang Chi the same question to which the young man replied that he couldn’t remember.
Sounding hurt, Yeo wool tells Kang Chi that they probably never met before and if its something he couldn’t remember then it is not significant.  A more serious, and curious, Kang Chi asks Yeowool if he remembers then would it become significant?  Yeowool was about to answer when Kang Chi pulled her down to save her.  They discover a ninja on one of the roofs of the inn.  The two followed the ninja but lost it.  Soon they find themselves in the middle of an illusion filled with fighting ninjas, ready to kill them. Is this what their fate leads them – fighting together to survive?
