SEOUL SEARCHING DAY 2 To the N Tower

TO THE N(Seoul) TOWER

After purchasing a few memorabilias in Nami Island, my chingu and I head back to the Gapyeong station.  While waiting for our train, an elder talks to us and asked our nationality.  He was even proud to share that the television drama Winter Sonata was filmed in Nami Island. He even wrote it on a piece of paper.  Unfortunately, I lost the paper.  We followed the easier route of going back to our hostel.  We headed back to our hostel to freshen up then proceed to NSeoul Tower.  We decided to walk from our hostel since we are not sure what station to take.  It was a good exercise though.  We used the main streets and just traverse the streets towards the tower.  Then we reached an elevator that would take us to the cable car!  Yes! There was an elevator We entered the building and purchased our roundtrip tickets.  Then we boarded the elevator inside the building before we finally reached the floor for the cable cars.  Obviously, we are reminded of some famous scenes in the popular Korean drama Boys Over Flowers.  Since its already dark, we were too shy to take pictures once inside the cable car.  We were just enjoying the sparkling night view of Seoul.
From the cable car, you have to take a few more steps towards the proper front area of the NSeoul Tower.  Our visit wasn't that bad because we had good photos but for first time visitors, I think it is advisable to be at the NSeoul Tower during daytime to appreciate more the place.  It was still memorable especially the breeze that welcomed us when we reached the foot of the tower.
We purchased tickets for the Tower and the Teddy Bear Museum.  There is a system in NSeoul Tower.  Visitors are encouraged to see first the two interesting halls of the Teddy Bear Museum before proceeding to the tower.  We entered the first hall of the Teddy Bear Museum.  Here, you will also learn the rich and colorful history and culture of South Korea in a cute and fun way!
The first hall features cute Teddy Bears depicting the ancient lives of Koreans - both royalties and commoners.
There are several couple bears in the halls including the Prince and Princess, scholars, female court servants, and commoners which are similar to those featured in the Korean drama Goong or Princess Hours.
If I remember it right, the second hall unveils the modern day Seoulites.  It has its own version of Cheongwadae or the Blue Residence, which is the Korean president's residence.  The second hall of the Teddy Bear Museum also houses their bear version of Cheongyecheon stream, Nanta, Gangnam, Seoul park, Hongdae, Myeongdong, the City Hall and the new Information Center/City Library and other favorite spots in Seoul.
After visiting the halls of the Teddy Bear Museum, we proceeded towards the tower.  We boarded a lift where we were asked to look at the ceiling and watch a presentation.
It was a good way to be lifted to the tower without getting dizzy while being lifted.  As expected, the tower is crowded.  But we still managed to get a glimpse of the beautiful night view of Seoul.
